      <title>Technical Customer Service and Support Consultant</title>

So if you have &amp;#39;the gift of the gab&amp;#39; and&lt;br/&gt;the technical skills to back it up, please read on.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Your day to day duties will include:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Perform first and second line support for client services and support issues, ensuring these are carried out to the&lt;br/&gt;complete satisfaction of the customer&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Perform daily maintenance tasks on customer networks and servers&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Keep users informed on status and progress of service tickets&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;80/20 split role (subject to business requirements) between Technical Support and Sales Administration (no direct sales)&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Taking responsibility for customer requests and liaising with the Service Desk to arrange installation&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Outlining customer needs in order to correctly identify any necessary products or services needed and sourcing products&lt;br/&gt;with an eye of experience when required&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Preparing tailored quotes for a wide variety of situations&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Ad-hoc supporting duties to directors&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Essential experience:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Previous experience of working in an IT role, preferably a Helpdesk position&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Support of all Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Technical understanding of LANs, WANs, fileservers and other networking hardware&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Microsoft Office applications&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Previous experience of preparing quotes for client requests&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;A full driving license is ESSENTIAL&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Must demonstrate:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Excellent interpersonal skills in interacting easily with customers and team members&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Fantastic communication skills to enable you to give clear, concise instructions with patience and courtesy via&lt;br/&gt;telephone, email or face to face&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;A proven experience working in an IT environment&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Ability to analyse problems and quickly identify possible solutions&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;First-hand experience of computerised administration systems&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;For bonus points, you&amp;#39;ll also have experience of:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Internet connections/router configuration.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;MS Small Business Server&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Windows IIS&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Exchange&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&amp;middot;Server backup software&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We are consistently exploring the industry and never sit back on our laurels so as a company, we&amp;#39;re growing rapidly and&lt;br/&gt;evolving all the time.
