Ensure all minutes and agendas are readily available when required. &lt;br /&gt;Travel to attend departmental meetings in other countries (as needed) &lt;br /&gt;Communicate by letter,email and telephone with Directors level, both internally and externally &lt;br /&gt;Maintain and update various files &lt;br /&gt;Check and prepare financial forms for signature &lt;br /&gt;Handle correspondence and telephone calls in Director&#039;s absence &lt;br /&gt;Coordinate departmental items i.e office moves etc &lt;br /&gt;Compile and send out newsletters for department staff &lt;br /&gt;Manage the intranet sites for Global Customer Services &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Th ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate well at all levels. They will need to have advanced proficiency in email, electronic diary and worldwide web. &lt;br /&gt;Also advanced proficiency with a wide range of packages including: Word Processing- Word, Presentations- PowerPoint, Spreadsheets- Excel, Intranet development site, FrontPage, Outlook, Share Point. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;This is a full time fixed term contract- maternity cover- for up to 12 months.</description>

&lt;p&gt;The Personal Assistant (PA) will be expected to represent the operations team in a professional and confidential manner at all times and help the Operations Directors to achieve the business objectives.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In this demanding role, the Personal Assistant (PA) will be responsible for preparing reports, presentations, spreadsheets and letters, ensuring that the content is accurate and that deadlines are always met. You will have the skills to collect, analyse and report on management information and will be expected to respond to incoming emails on behalf of the Directors.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Diary management will be important in this role and the Personal Assistant (PA) will take responsibility for organising internal and external meetings, preparing the necessary documents and then taking and circulating minutes. &lt;p&gt;The successful candidate will have previous experience of providing a high level of Personal Assistant (PA) support for a Director along with excellent IT skills, particularly using Microsoft Office. With specialist secretarial knowledge (RSA III or equivalent), you will be competent producing reports, spreadsheets and letters whilst maintaining attention to detail.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;An opportunity has arisen with our legal client for a hardworking and proactive Administration Assistant / Administrator to help provide effective support for the Quality Assurance Scheme for Advocates (QASA) based in High Holborn with a salary of circa &amp;pound;20,500 plus benefits.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This Administration Assistant / Administrator role will involve maintaining records, updating databases and handling enquiries by telephone, letter and e-mail. Other tasks include organisation of meetings and conferences, preparation of agendas, papers and minutes, drafting reports, and document management.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Excellent IT, communication and organisational skills are essential as is the ability to use initiative, work under pressure and demonstrate good attention to detail for the Administration Assistant / Administrator role.
