      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;strong&gt;IT Systems Administrator.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/u&gt; An experienced IT Systems Administrator is required for our clients&amp;rsquo; Central London office.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;THE COMPANY&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our client is a European-based developer, implementer and cloud hosting of best-of-breed HR applications with a range of products covering the whole spectrum of HR business processes. Their software/services are mostly international system rollouts and their clients are major global organisations who operate in all vertical sectors.&amp;nbsp; They have offices across Europe and the United States with a network of partners worldwide.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;THE ROLE&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our client is currently recruiting for an IT Systems Administrator with a wide range of technology experience to join their London based team which is part of an international Corporate unit. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The role of IT Systems Administrator will predominately be serving employees based in London however there will be regular involvement in various group projects with international reach and will report to the Corporate IT Manager based in Italy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As a member of this team, your focus will be:&lt;br /&gt;* To ensure local network efficiency and improve infrastructures performance.&lt;br /&gt;* Support local users by analysing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.&lt;br /&gt;* Manage and monitor local infrastructures (including network, local servers and workstations).&lt;br /&gt;* Configure and manage IT security, backup and recovery.&lt;br /&gt;* Manage software and hardware maintenance and inventory.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;THE PERSON&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A successful candidate would bring with them the following:&lt;br /&gt;Experience &amp;ndash; Required:&lt;br /&gt;* 2 years professional experience in a similar role&lt;br /&gt;* Supporting a local client base between 50 &amp;ndash; 100 users&lt;br /&gt;* Supporting a Local Area Network and WAN&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Skills&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &amp;ndash; Required&lt;br /&gt;* Windows 2003 &amp;amp; 2008 Server Family, XP and Windows 7&lt;br /&gt;* Active Directory&lt;br /&gt;* DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP&lt;br /&gt;* SMTP and Exchange Server 2003&lt;br /&gt;* Microsoft IIS (versions 5, 6 &amp;amp; 7)&lt;br /&gt;* Awareness of emerging technologies and make use of webinars, events, periodicals, blogs&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Skills&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; - Advantageous&lt;br /&gt;* Virtualization technologies and concepts(ESXi/Vmware Server/Hyper-V)&lt;br /&gt;* Exchange Server 2007/2010&lt;br /&gt;* Microsoft Sharepoint&lt;br /&gt;* Experience with Linux&lt;br /&gt;* Cisco Switch and router configuration and administrationvia CLI commands&lt;br /&gt;* MCSE or working towards&lt;br /&gt;* Proxy Server Experience &amp;ndash; preferably ISA 2004/2006&lt;br /&gt;* Enterprise Level Firewall Configuration&lt;br /&gt;* Management of SQL Server 2000, 2005 &amp;amp; 2008&lt;br /&gt;* ISCSI SAN Deployments&lt;br /&gt;* Enterprise End Point Security Software&lt;br /&gt;* Advanced Group policy software deployments&lt;br /&gt;* VB scripting&lt;br /&gt;* VPNS&lt;br /&gt;* Working towards a Cisco CCENT/CCNA&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Abilities&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Experienced in managing multiple tasks both for prioritisation and allocation&lt;br /&gt;* Order and purchase management of hardware and software licensing&lt;br /&gt;* Communicate at all levels of the organisation (Office Admin to Director Level)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Qualities:&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Strong team player&lt;br /&gt;* Prioritisation/Time Management&lt;br /&gt;* Works well under tough deadlines&lt;br /&gt;* Customer service orientation&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Work Benefits&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* A salary of &amp;pound;27,000 pa to &amp;pound;30,000 pa&lt;br /&gt;* Access to all the latest MS software via the company Silver Partner membership&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;HOW TO APPLY:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;Please note that in accordance with our recruitment and consultancy processes, if you are shortlisted your CV will be sent to the Hiring Manager at our Clients&amp;rsquo; business and by applying for this position you give your consent for us to do so.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Applications for the role of IT Systems Administrator will only be considered if we are provided with a full CV detailing your recent work experience in a similar capacity with dates of employment and ensure your contact numbers and residential address details are on your CV.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You must have eligibility to work in the UK.&amp;nbsp; Please note, only suitable applicants will be contacted and incomplete CVs will not be considered.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We look forward to hearing from you!&lt;/p&gt;</description>
