Airport baggage handlers are responsible for marshalling aircraft in the gate, loading, unloading and sorting freight and baggage. &lt;br /&gt;

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Baggage Handler - Ramp Agent:&lt;br /&gt;
Responsible for maintaining safety and security of the ramp at all times &lt;br /&gt;
Monitor customer safety during boarding and deplaning, and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner &lt;br /&gt;
Marshall aircraft on the ramp (includes directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft) &lt;br /&gt;
Transfer baggage to all airlines&lt;br /&gt;
Observe safe ground handling procedures and maintenance of ground handling equipment, including the performance of equipment checks &lt;br /&gt;
Comply with all safety procedures and Station Policies &lt;br /&gt;
Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, airfreight and COMAT (continuous lifting, loading/unloading, sorting &amp; transfer of baggage, freight, COMAT) &lt;br /&gt;
Service aircraft as needed (aircraft lavatories, portable water, window wash, de-icing and commissary items &lt;br /&gt;
Assist in ramp set-up and storage of equipment and baggage &lt;br /&gt;
Constant communication with Operations, Flight Crew personnel and other ground personnel &lt;br /&gt;
Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor and Manager&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Good hourly rates&lt;br /&gt;

Other information &lt;br /&gt;
Must have a Full UK Clean Driving licence &lt;br /&gt;

Role Priorities: &lt;br /&gt;
Be comfortable in communicating nutritional program guidelines and keeping customers on service for their supplementation as recommended by health care providers.&lt;br /&gt;
Health Coach Support: Provide professional, courteous and knowledgeable nutritional product related guidance through both inbound and outbound communication.&lt;br /&gt;
Customer Service: By professional, courteous and efficient, telephone, electronic, and interpersonal communication, through both inbound and outbound communication.&lt;br /&gt;
Detail oriented; Intense phone and computer documentation &lt;br /&gt;
Flexible; Happy to work on everyday office duties if required. &lt;br /&gt;

Essential Skills and Experience &lt;br /&gt;
A degree in a scientific discipline (not necessarily nutrition)&lt;br /&gt;
At least 1-2 years sales/customer service experience&lt;br /&gt;
At least 1-2 years healthcare experience working with health professionals and/or patients&lt;br /&gt;
Skilled in computer communications and data entry&lt;br /&gt;
Must speak clear, proper English. No slang.&lt;br /&gt;
Team player : willing to learn, assist and help other team members as required &lt;br /&gt;
Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.  &lt;br /&gt;
