&lt;p&gt;Our client has an exciting opportunity to work for a rapidly expanding collections department in Shirley, Solihull as a Collections Adviser. Both full time and part time positions are available attracting a salary of &amp;pound;15,000 - &amp;pound;19,000 plus commission.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Collections Adviser will be required to have previous experience within a customer service or targeted environment with passion and drive to succeed. Full training and direct support will be given to all successful candidates, therefore previous collections experience is not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to change their career and gain experience working within a professional collections team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;text-decoration: underline;&quot;&gt;Responsibilities as a Collector&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Collections Adviser will proactively contact the existing customers who have fallen behind with their payments across a wide range of products and services, to assist them in arranging a repayment plan. This will also involve liaising with third party insolvency and debt management companies to find a suitable solution to their financial situation. Full training will be provided.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The calls and duties will be varied and often challenging. This will be an interesting role for someone who enjoys working in a varied, target driven and fast paced environment.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The ideal candidate will have a positive approach to helping customers with the ability to show empathy and successfully manage difficult conversations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential with the ability to work under your own initiative and prioritise your workload efficiently. You must be able to demonstrate strong negotiation and problem solving skills in order to be successful in this role. By using your communication skills and overcoming objections you will provide a solution that will accommodate both parties.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Utilising your excellent communication skills you will promote a professional and excellent image of the company whilst providing administrative support to the department and dealing with calls from French customers and consumers.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;The successful candidate for this role will speak French to a fluent level and have the efficiency to work under pressure. With your responsible attitude you will possess the impeccable interpersonal skills required for this customer based role. You will have the ability to work effectively on your own and also as part of a team. In order to be successful within this role you must have a flexible approach to working hours and ideally possess previous customer service experience. An excellent telephone manner is essential with a good understanding of IT applications including word and excel.&lt;/p&gt;
