&lt;div&gt;We are looking for a Compliance Officer on a 3 month fixed term contract, on behalf of our client who are based in Bristol. &amp;nbsp;For this role we are looking for someone with&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Diploma FS qualified or at advanced stages of the qualification. &amp;nbsp;The responsibilities of the role will include:&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To support the Compliance Manager to inform and advise the Business and to monitor its systems and procedures in line with FSA regulations.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To ensure that effective T and C schemes are in place across the business.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To review and be aware of changes to FSA regulation that will impact on the Business and assist in developing policies and procedures to ensure adherence to compliance.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;Key Responsibilities&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To manage and ensure that effective T and C schemes are in place across the business and monitor compliance with these standards.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To be instrumental in communicating the requirements of the schemes to all areas of the business.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To ensure these schemes are reviewed periodically and the requirements of the schemes are met.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;To assist in the delivery of the agreed approach for educating, briefing and training staff on regulatory requirements to ensure they understand and discharge their responsibilities appropriately.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To review current FSA regulation and be aware of future developments.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To assist with the firms compliance monitoring programme.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To assist in the management of the Society investigation process of complaints and tracking, and highlighting key issues to prevent further complaints.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To assist with maintaining AML processes.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To prepare internal reports and regulatory returns.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To undertake and manage compliance projects as required.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To undertake new business quality checking as required.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To maintain knowledge on investment, non-investment and mortgage product knowledge in order to take an active role in literature, promotional, sales and product development.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;To comply with FSA rules, the Data Protection Act, Health &amp;amp; Safety legislation and the Society&amp;rsquo;s IT policy.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Knowledge Required&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Expert knowledge of regulatory framework, particularly TCF and Conduct of Business Rules&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Maintain excellent up to date knowledge of the FSA Handbooks &amp;nbsp;e.g. COBS, ML. T&amp;amp;C, SYSC, APER, ICOB and MCOB&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;High degree of knowledge of products processes and services expected of advice and non advice sales teams.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;In depth knowledge of RDR and distribution impact desirable&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Good working knowledge of investments, pensions, mortgages and protection products&lt;/div&gt;
