Urgent Bookkeeper with Payroll Experience Required ASAP

Leeds (LS11)

Temp to perm

£8.50 /hour (Perm £20K)

Privately owned SME based in LS11 is in urgent need of a Bookkeeper who can cover all aspects of the accounts function up to reporting level.

We need someone who has used SAGE PAYROLL (Sage 50 is also useful).

As of immediate effect you will be processing payroll, dealing with purchase and sales ledgers, chasing outstanding debt and posting cash.

If the position is made permanent, you will also be responsible for the following:

- Cash flow management on a daily basis
- Preparation & presentation of monthly management accounts
- Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
- Pay suppliers via BACS or CHAPS through on-line banking system
- Stock monitoring and re-ordering when required
- Cashbooks & Nominal Ledger postings    

- Bank / control account reconciliations

- Monthly cash flow reporting

- Monthly Management Accounts

- Month and Year end reporting and preparation

- Daily Cheque & Bacs Postings to Debtors Ledger

            - Petty Cash, VAT returns / PAYE & NI and Monthly Payroll

But as of immediate effect we need someone in on a temporary basis to carry out the Payroll and other backed up urgent tasks.

This is paying Circa £8.50 /hour on a temporary basis and Circa £20K on a permanent basis.
