About the Role
As our clients company grows, they are seeing more leads than ever from all four corners of the globe. Your main goal will be to grow their international sales across both individual travellers and academic groups. With life-changing experiences on offer, there’s no need to hard sell. Instead, you’ll take a consultative approach, helping each traveller plan and book the ideal trip for their dreams and ambitions.
Working alongside the Sales and Marketing Manager and team, you’ll also provide first-rate after-sales support and assist with a variety of marketing activities, from speaking at live events to posting on the social media channels.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will show experience meeting these three key criteria:
A successful track record in a similar role. You should have at least three years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the travel or service sector, and be someone who thrives in a sales environment.
Skills beyond sales. As a seasonal business with a relatively small team, it’s important you feel comfortable stepping outside your core sales role and getting involved with everything from marketing to admin and sharing insights with the wider team.
Enthusiasm for conserving the natural world. Many of our customers are pursuing careers in the environmental and biological sciences. While you don’t need any specific qualifications in this area, a genuine interest in the natural world is essential to engage in successful sales conversations.
