Fantastic opportunity for a motivated person with positive energy to work in a customer facing role managing a workspace hub and helping businesses achieve their dreams.

This is a site of 60 small and start-up businesses ranging from artists to metal workers that occupy a recently refurbished site. We offer small workspace units with an inclusive service.

Job Description

- Build strong relationships with occupiers liaising with them on a day to day basis, helping them in their own endeavours to foster a community spirit
- Day to day management of occupiers including ensuring heath and safety is upheld and that they pay their fees on time
- Managing the property cycle to meet targets from marketing vacant units to ensuring orderly exit
- Ensure that the site is properly maintained and put forward proposals for ongoing improvement including designing refurbishments, reorganisations and obtaining quotes
- Dealing with utility companies and providers in respect of the provision of services to the site
- Maintaining key registers and records
- Maintaining accounts of all expenditure and in respect of payments due and paid by licensees
- Willingly tackle problems which stand in the way of achieving results and have a flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations
- Understand and advise on regulations relevant to facility management

Requirements

- Good energy and positive attitude
- Able to create boundaries, challenge clients and solve disputes
- Strong time management, organisational skills and the ability to multi task
- High degree of self-discipline and ability to work effectively alone
- Occasional unsocial hours working may be required from time to time
- Ability to negotiate good rates with licensees and service providers and take the necessary action for licensees who fall into arrears
- Working knowledge of excel, budgets, accounting principals and KPIs
- The ability to apply logic and find solutions for problems independently both with the workings of the business and for on-site services
- Good Health and safety knowledge and awareness
- Willing to assist licensees with forklift driving and deliveries on an ad-hoc basis (training will be supplied)
- Willingness to attend a series of training courses

Pay Package

This is a part-time role that has the potential to become full-time within a year.

Initially hours will be inconsistent during training, the pay package is based upon a 20 hour week.

£12,000 - £14,000 based on relevant skills and experience
