Trainee sales estimator required for our Clacton based bespoke client in their newly refurbished offices. As Trainee sales estimator, you will be part of a team where you will responsible for client satisfaction and where you will be using CAD to produce and amend drawings and processing all relevant paperwork involved for our client business customers.  The company pride themselves on delivering some fantastic bespoke products and delivering a high level of excellent customers service. Therefore, to be considered for this trainee sales estimator opportunity you must be someone who possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and takes true pride in all the work you carry out.   


The Role

·         First response with telephone and live web chat enquiries.

·         Produce and amend drawings using CAD

·         Assist project managers with pricing

·         Offering top class customer service to help convert enquiries into sales.

·         Following up enquiries and finding solutions for clients.

·         Taking responsibility for quotes assigned, complete pricing and design to the client’s satisfaction.

·         Attend internal meetings

·         Where necessary, value engineer the materials and or construction to reduce the project’s costs to help gain sales.

·         Keep drawing files and a custom project tracker programme up to date.


The Person

·         Must have previous sales/administration experience ideally gained within bespoke manufacturing/construction industry

·         Ideally have CAD Experience

·         Strong communication skills

·         Can do, positive attitude with aspirations for further development within the business

·         Team player.

·         Joinery; An understanding of and a passion / interest in timber.

·         Full driving licence would be ideal but not essential
