Our client generates and supplies energy to major industrial firms at the Wilton International manufacturing site on Teesside. They deliver secure and reliable supplies of electrical power, steam, water and other services to customers from greener, more sustainable power generating facilities.
Their utilities and services are of vital importance to manufacturers in a range of energy intensive process sectors on the site.
Reporting to their Risk Management and Controls Manager, the successful Trading Back Office Administrator will ensure Back Office compliance which is an integral part of the trading function.
These processes are key to the commerciality of commodity deals transacted by the Front Office Trading team and so a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy are essential skills in an environment where an error can have both financial and reputational ramifications.
Communicating effectively within the team, externally and with other departments within the organisation, you must ensure that deadlines are met as well as the reconciliation of discrepancies and the resolution of counterparty issues; seeking out information necessary for problem solving.
The position requires strong communication skills and rigorous accuracy skills, together with excellent numerical and analytical skills. Knowledge of the UK Power and Gas market and Trading desk functions is desirable. Experience in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel) is essential for the role.
