Elevation Recruitment Office Support are currently assisting a large Financial Services business based in Doncaster with the recruitment of an IT Project Manager.

The main purpose of this role will be to support and drive forward key business changes as well as focusing on business solutions, processes and improvement. The successful candidate with be a forward thinking Project Manager with a technical background and knowledge or experience of working within financial services.

Key Accountabilities:
-Ensure projects are planned, funded, resourced
-To self-identify, own and implement improvements to working practices used by the Change function
-To effectively manage projects, ensuring delivery within agreed budget and timescales through all stages of the project lifecycle
-Engage and manage all, including Board level, stakeholders
-Plan and co-ordinate the engagement of all project resources including business, technical,vendor and any other external resources
-Lead resources to ensure that they are working efficiently and achieving their project objectives
-Make sure risks and issues are identified, reported and managed through to resolution
-Plan and ensure changes to time, scope of budget are progressed in a controlled way.
-Obtain and check status reports are produced and accurately reflect project progress
-Develop and deliver robust stakeholder engagement plans
-Build and establish and maintain strong relationships and clear lines of communication with all stakeholders and project participants
-Ensure all project communications are timely, relevant and appropriate to the audience
-To organise and attend the appropriate project status meetings and other forums, ensuring that meeting attendees are issued with reading materials in advance.
May be required to deputise for other Project Managers or manage elements of smaller change initiatives.
-Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
