Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Officer to add to their Asset Management and Operations teams.

The key responsibilities of this role are;

to assist with the managing, inspecting, maintaining and improving the Council's stock of bridges and other road structures in accordance with statutory requirements.

to assist with the implementation of the flodd prevention and coastal prevention duties in accordance with statutory requirements.

to assist with the provision of a structural/civil engineering consultancy service.

to assist with the feasability studies, detailed design and contract management of civil and structural engineering projects.

to carry out topographical surveys and prepare reports

The key attributes of this role are;

experienced Civil engineer , used to multi-site projects

involvement with continuous improvement processes and procedures

excellent customer focus
