This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or early career candidate to work in a top premium food manufacturer. This is a key appointment that sits at the crossroads of information flows in the company and the successful Technical Author will report directly into the People and Training Coordinator & Continuous Improvement Manager.
As a Technical Author you will take ownership of the production of technical materials for the company and will have some experience as a technical author/technical writer or the academic ability to become one. This appointment is key to ensure all training modules are documented to a BRC standard. You will also support with technical documentation including amends to and updating of HACCP and the management of food safety and procedure documents including process flow manuals. You will have the confidence to present and train the team/internal stakeholders on technical updates from manufacturing and production teams.
We seek a Technical Author who has excellent interpersonal and team-working skills, good problem solving skills and the willingness to learn new skills on the job. Excellent IT proficiency and a working knowledge of MS Office
We will look at graduates with a food background or candidates from health and safety backgrounds that have a clear, concise writing style.
