35 hours per week full time but willing to consider flexibility

About the role:

Our Client has an exciting opportunity for a Team Co-ordinator to join their Policy and Partnerships department where you will provide flexible, effective and efficient support. With a strong interest in what they are trying to achieve, you will have a passion to help them solve poverty in the UK.

Working with the Business Support team, you will provide a high-quality administrative service whilst contributing positively to the service transformation across the business. Supporting the organisation with workshops, small events and meeting facilitation, you will have a passion for personal development and will look to go above and beyond.

Millions of people are locked in poverty in the UK, they don’t believe that’s right. That’s why they’ve made it their mission to solve it. Their new strategy is to work alongside others to build public and political will for change and demand for solutions.

About you:

You will be an experienced Administrator who is able to work in a busy and open environment. You will be confident and effective in working with colleagues across the organisation and with a wide range of external stakeholders, including people living in poverty, business leaders and senior politicians and policy-makers. With the ability to work to deadlines and experience of project administration, you will be an excellent communicator and will have a willingness to embrace new technology and ways of working.

Their ideal candidate will be a problem solver; someone who is pro-active, with a can do approach. With a passion in what our Client is trying to achieve, you will be aware of what is going on within the sector they work, and will have a service delivery approach.

About us:

Our Client is a social change organisation with a 100-year history. They  are built on trust, show they care, and exist to make a difference.

They work with others to put forward sector-leading research, evidence, solutions and stories to the UK’s influencers and decision-makers.

They believe that a prosperous poverty-free UK is within reach - they just need more people to believe it too.

To make their vision a reality they need talent, ideas, skills and passion, plus they need to change some of what they do and how they do it. So, they’re embarking on a significant period of change - change that will see them become an outcomes-focused organisation that embraces new ways of working and modern practices.

If you share their passion, then they need to hear from you.

Closing date for applications is Thursday 21 February 2019

In support of their approach to flexible working they are happy to receive applications from those seeking full time employment, as well as those who may want to share the role on a part time basis.

When making your application, please state whether you want to be considered for either full or part time work and, if part time, the number of hours per week you would be looking for.
