Team Assistant - £25-30k

Our client, a large finance house based in the West End, are currently recruiting for a Team Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Duties / responsibilities

  • Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Ensuring appointments are managed effectively and staff informed when meetings overrun
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations including loading iPads with papers for meetings and Boards
  • Printing and binding documents and presentations
  • Arranging travel, visas and accommodation
  • Booking couriers
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff
  • Processing of expenses and preparing/checking invoices for sign off
  • Completing administrative tasks
  • Adhoc projects
  • Help with cover on Reception when needed

Required knowledge, skills and experience

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proactive
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times
