The Company

We are recruiting for a Stock Controller for our client in Rushden. They are a great company to work for, very friendly, excellent progression prospects and they are experiencing growth.

The Job

  • All 'non stock' pallets i.e. archive to be controlled by description and located on the system with 100% accuracy
  • Ensure optimum layout of all warehouses to achieve the highest productivity and make the best use of available space
  • Ensure weekly cycle counts are completed
  • Implement audits against key activities. To include - Goods Receipt, Put-Away, Supplier Returns, Aftersales Returns, Excess Stock
  • Maintain Stock Accuracy
  • Manage all aspects of quarterly Stock Takes - planning, resource management, completion, analysis and reporting of results
  • Report weekly Warehouse Utilisation statistics
  • Slow moving stock - Fully identified items and stock holding levels kept to minimum levels held on site/s
  • The ability to use, set-up and configure
  • Weekly Stock data reporting and analysis - to include stock loss / stock gain / stock damages / shrinkage / adjustments with full detailed root causes

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience and knowledge working within a Stock Control role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Accurate
  • Organised

The Package

  • Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 2pm
  • 20 days holiday and it goes up 1 day each year of service + bank holidays
  • Pension is 5% employee contribution and 4% Employer (3 months auto-enrolment)
