The Company

We are recruiting for a Stock Controller for our client based in Rushden. Ideal candidate from a construction and manufacturing background. They are a great company to work for, very friendly, excellent progression prospects and they are experiencing growth. They are looking for a candidate with strong stock and inventory management experience to join their team in the Stores department.

The Job

  • Archive all non-stock pallets - control by description and locate on the system
  • Make the best use of available space in the warehouses
  • Weekly cycle counts
  • Implement audits - Goods Receipt, Put-Away, Supplier Returns, Aftersales Returns, Excess Stock
  • Maintain Stock Accuracy
  • Manage all aspects of quarterly Stock Takes - planning, resource management, completion, analysis and reporting of results
  • Report weekly Warehouse Utilisation statistics
  • Deal with slow moving stock
  • Weekly Stock data reporting and analysis - stock loss, stock gain, stock damages, shrinkage, adjustments

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong experience and knowledge working within a Stock Control/Inventory Management role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Construction and manufacturing background
  • Accurate
  • Organised

The Package

  • Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 5pm
  • 20 days holiday and it goes up 1 day each year of service + bank holidays
  • Pension is 5% employee contribution and 4% Employer
  • Profit Share
  • Free parking
