Elevation Recruitment Group Business Support is actively working with a prestigious business in Derbyshire as they look to take on a Stock Control Manager to fulfil a newly created position
The purpose of the role is effectively manage the stock profile through the company's internal systems so that stock is efficiently distributed in line with customer service level agreements
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
-Daily management of stock lines -Ensuring the right product is in the right location -Plan and organise goods-in -Ensure discrepancy protocols are maintained -Ensure perpetual inventory cycles are followed -Interrogate stock variations and identification of root causes -Annual stock take, as well as finalisation/posting of results, analysis of outcomes and recommendations for improvements -Financial reporting of all stock discrepancies with fully documented investigations -Daily reports to warehouse -Weekly reporting of all stock management issues -Produce accurate and timely reports on inventory variances -Improving the processes within the department for efficiency -Ensure resources used are to the agreed budget and all excess is justified -Raising and resolving internal and external queries by telephone and/or e-mail
Key Skills Required:
-At least 5 years of Experience working within Stock Control environment -Change management experience -Management reporting and warehouse management systems -Excellent IT skills, including ability to use data-based systems and Microsoft Office
