Our Client is a tech startup that runs software marketplaces and comparison sites helping businesses decide on which software solutions to use. From CRM to Accounting and Marketing Automation to Supply Chain Management - they cover 250+ categories of business software and compare almost everything for their users! Their vendor solutions portal helps thousands of software companies connect with their ideal customers.
They have a dynamic team thats distributed globally with a small head office based in Shoreditch, London - which is where you will be located.

They are looking for a Software Advisor, to give advice to business users on the phone and via email. You will work with software buyers to gather requirements and give them advice on what solutions to use - starting with Project Management software and then moving on to other software categories.
They're looking for a strong phone and email communicator, who can quickly understand prospects' requirements, cope with technical complexity and adapt to different circumstances. Additionally, you should have a keen understanding of software and technology in general.
Over time you will get the chance to work with software vendors and partners, help shape the program and get involved in managing the tech that powers it all. This is a versatile role in which testing and analysis are key. If you can be described as personable and analytical then this role might be for you.
• 2+ years of marketing, operations, customer service or sales experience in technology and/or startups
• A Bachelors degree or relevant work experience
• Experience working with online systems, such as CRMs, project management and spreadsheet software
• Experience working with large datasets (through Excel, Google Sheets, etc)
• Excellent written and phone communication skills
• A keen understanding of the SaaS / software market and marketplaces in general
• The ability to foster and grow client relationships
• An entrepreneurial mindset and good technical acumen
They offer competitive salaries, a direct and uncapped bonus structure based on your performance and pension benefits - all of which will scale with the impact you have on their business. Your base salary will depend on your level of experience and overall skillset. If you really prove yourself you will also be able to earn equity.
Base: £25K - £32K
Bonus: dep. on performance
