Salary: Circa £30,000

The Role

A leading private client law firm in Scotland is looking to recruit a Senior Tax Assistant to join their Personal Tax Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing tax advice to individuals, trustees and executors in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for working closely with colleagues in the Tax Group and across the firm on client matters, providing assistance with challenging tax areas.

Requirements & Skills:

You will have experience in the preparation and completion of personal tax returns, calculating income tax and capital gains tax liabilities for clients.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload.

Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and have the ability to build professional relationships with clients.
