A Chartered Certified firm of Accountants based in Huntingdon established in 1941, have a requirement for an Audit/Account Senior.

It is a really exciting time to be joining them as they continue to modernise the practice. They aim to provide their clients with a first class proactive service, with their outstanding team of professionals.

You can expect a busy working environment with a varied and interesting client base within all aspects of Audit and Account functions.

This role would suit an existing Senior looking to realise their full potential within a forward thinking and successful practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Limited Company statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
- Preparation of larger sole-trader and partnership accounts
- Preparing Tax and Capital Allowance computations
- Dealing with general client queries
- Supervising & developing more junior members of the team
- Preparation of audit plans, ensuring they appropriately address audit objectives
- Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
- Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives

Skills:
- ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or qualified by experience with a minimum of 7 years practice experience.
- Experience of working in a mixed audit and accounts role within a firm of Chartered /Chartered Certified Accountants is essential
- Knowledge of CCH/Sage/Xero/Quickbooks software will be an advantage.
- Team player with friendly, approachable and positive professional outlook.
- Ability to adapt to new advancements in technology,
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work to tight deadline
- Excellent communication skills
