Senior Financial Services Administrator – up to £26k DOE + Benefits – Nottingham, UK

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and capable Senior Financial Services Administrator to join a highly motivated team of individuals based in our offices in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The successful candidate will have a high level of organisation skill around general financial services administration, able to multi-task whilst proactively providing research, client valuations and processing new business.

You will be providing advanced business support to a busy Senior Director, working within agreed business objectives, as well as operating and adhering to company compliance policies and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations. The key responsibilities of a Senior Financial Services Administrator include, but are not limited to:

  • Compiling basic suitability reports from structured templates
  • Preparing research, agendas and paperwork for client review meetings
  • Being responsible for following process and procedures for both yourself and the Director
  • Acting as a liaison point for clients and providers
  • Maintaining and update client information, preferably within Xplan and AWS Morningstar
  • Assisting the Practice Manager with operational projects where requested
  • Pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Senior Financial Services Administrator:

  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience, within a senior administrational role in financial services, having preferably worked with senior management
  • Highly organised, capable of dealing with several tasks in parallel and being able to work on your own initiative with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to empathise and build strong business relationships with our clients, other team members and strategic partners
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, able to interpret data and produce basic recommendations with supporting evidence; and has experience within financial report writing
  • Professional, responsible and courteous manner, alongside discretion in handling confidential information is paramount
  • IT literate; and preferably competent in the use of Morningstar and other industry analysis tools, back office systems (preferably Xplan), and Microsoft Office
  • Full training will be provided, alongside financial support for financial exams
