Elevation Procurement and Supply Chain are currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer for a market leading global manufacturer, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Reporting directly the Operations Director, the Senior Buyer will offer critical support by continuity of supply, for all materials, maintaining exceptional supplier relationships and working towards strict KPIs, personally and company-wide. Taking a hands-on approach, the Senior Buyer will be accountable for stock availability and maintaining on time and accurate deliveries.
Elevation Procurement and Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experience:
-Extensive experience purchasing materials from the Far East and Europe.
-Commercial awareness, with excellent communication skills to manage exceptional supplier relationships
-Computer literate: MRP systems, Microsoft Excel and SAP would be a distinct advantage.
-Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to resolve supplier issues
