Search and Selection Head Hunting

Anson McCade is looking to expand its' search & selection headhunting team due to the successful development of a number of new blue chip clients. We are looking for exceptionally motivated and talented individuals who are keen to move into a fast paced and challenging environment where success and reward are determined by your own hard work.

We work with a number of major blue chip organisations who are looking to recruit candidates often with extremely specific and niche skills.  We specialise in high-level IT and Investment banking so you should have an interest in one of these sectors. Your role is essentially to act as the middleman between clients and candidate but reward comes from procuring and managing these rare candidates - not an easy job!

Your duties will involve searching the market for the best candidates.  We do this in a number of ways; extensive advertising, social network sites, searching internal and job board databases and most importantly networking.   To become successful in this job you will need to become a specialist in a niche market area in order to network effectively - resources such as job boards are only a starting point.  Through the continual development of lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike the rewards can become exceptional. We will work with you to help you develop your own individual style that means you will have the confidence to ask key questions that other head-hunters don't - and most importantly your continually developed market knowledge will give candidates confidence in you to respond.  Product knowledge is therefore essential along with maturity and exceptional communication skills as you will be talking to the top 5% of the business world. 

This is a phone based role where you will be cold calling contacts you have developed - this is the hardest but most rewarding part of the job both financially and in terms of job satisfaction!  Creativity is essential when tackling the obstacles surrounding the uncovering of valuable candidates.  Should you show the requisite calibre you will essentially be able to grow your own desk as you become a specialist in your vertical market and work with a number of clients to fill their most complex roles. 

This is not an easy role.  You will face many setbacks and rejections but provided you have the necessary motivation and combination of skills you will have every chance to succeed. As this is classed as a sales role you are required to hit and exceed targets; in turn you will be well rewarded.
