Junior Sales & Marketing Administrator – Competitive Salary – Slough, Berkshire

The Role

We are looking for a process-driven marketing professional who is committed to providing a high level of service to internal customers, combining attention to detail with analytical skills. The Junior Sales & Marketing Administrator will support the Head of Sales & Functional Head of Marketing to take ownership for updating the various sales and marketing systems including CRM contact database, marketing automation system and sales lead management.

You will build and analyse lead tracking reports that measure how well campaigns are performing, assisting campaign managers to create outstanding campaign results and helping the sales team to be more productive. The ideal candidate will make an immediate impact in a small but dynamic team.

The key responsibilities of a Junior Sales & Marketing Administrator include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing, updating, cleaning and segmenting customer data in a proactive manner
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure leads are loaded and synced in Marketing Automation tool and CRM
  • Liaising with sellers to set-up lead scoring and campaign code tagging
  • Collaborating with Sales to ensure opportunities are accurately updated in CRM
  • Providing end-to-end administration support to project manage pre-event and onsite logistics, including writing of event briefing documents and project plans; emails including invite, registration, joining instructions and post-event surveys
  • Ensuring data compliance, making sure we are current with data permissions
  • Maintaining website content including tracking web traffic and online presence data
  • Performing brand management to ensure our integrity; and being responsible for our social media output
  • Presenting regularly at Sales meetings and producing reports on Campaign Leads and Sales Lead Performance, providing insight to team colleagues

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Junior Sales & Marketing Administrator:

  • Educated to ‘A’ level and preferably relevant Degree/CIM with at least one year of B2B experience, ideally within software or high-tech services environment
  • Experience of maintaining accurate contact data and familiarity with lead tracking and campaign automation systems
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, capable of maintaining and working with data across multiple systems concurrently
  • Positive, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision whilst also having a collaborative working style, as well as great interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
  • A resourceful individual who relishes in finding solutions to challenges and requests, adopting a flexible approach and not easily flustered
