Trainee Sales Administrator

Salary: Competitive - TBC

Hours: Full time, Permanent

Benefits: Regular hours Monday to Friday, 20 days paid annual leave, rising to 25 days after 10 years, plus all bank holidays and Company closure between Christmas and New Year, Generous Company pension, Health Benefit scheme, Company social events

Location: Nottingham, NG13

We are a 35-year old company with an eye to the future!  We supply air filters and provide services to business throughout the UK from our Bingham Head Office and our Scottish branch, and are very proud of the enviable reputation we have acquired over the decades as a supplier who is professional, reliable, and above all user-friendly.  We are now looking to grow our team with the addition of enthusiastic, conscientious and friendly individuals to work from our Bingham office.

As a Trainee Sales Office Administrator, you will provide support to the busy sales team by learning to process quotations and sales orders, liaise with customers, suppliers and other departments and help with the upkeep of the administrative systems.  No two days are ever the same and you will enjoy building a relationship with our vast and varied customer base.

The ideal candidate for this position will be friendly, outgoing and looking for an opportunity to build a career within this expanding and respected Company. 

Responsibilities will eventually include:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries by phone, email and in person
  • Raising quotes, sales orders and invoices using Sage 50
  • Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
  • Contacting customers who haven’t dealt recently
  • Liaising with carriers regarding customer deliveries
  • Using Microsoft Office 2010
  • General admin duties

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Reliable
  • Flexible approach
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of IT
  • Passionate about providing a high level of customer service
  • This role is permanent and full training will be provided.
