Sales Administrator - South West London

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 p.a.

The Company

Our client creates a wide range of high end bespoke lighting for both trade and retail customers. Family owned, they export to over 50 countries worldwide from their workshop in Shropshire and welcome customers from all over the world to their showroom in London.

The Role

Our client is looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to work full time in their London showroom. The candidate must have the experience and initiative to fulfil a varied role which requires them to be proactive and able to prioritise a busy workload, whilst having exceptional customer service skills.

Role Responsibilities:

• Ability to actively sell from the showroom floor.
• Deal with all sales enquiries both written and verbally.
• Process orders from point of sale through to dispatch.
• Manage client expectations with regular order updates. Respond to emails promptly, accurately and efficiently.
• Process quotations for UK and International clients.
• Set up and maintain customer accounts both trade and retail.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain and update all pricing of products in showroom.
• Visual merchandising of products (with guidance).
• Supporting Head Office staff.
• Opening/Closing of showroom. Cleaning showroom.


Essential Skills & Requirements:

• Ability to build relationships with customers both in person and on the phone.
• Well organised and able to use own initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate, experienced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Previous experience of working in the lighting industry would be useful but is not essential as training will be given.
• Ability to absorb information.
