The Role

An incredible opportunity for a Sales Administrator / Estimator has arisen with this innovative company. My client are looking for someone who is passionate about technology to work closely with sales team, responsible for many elements of the process, responsibilities to include;

  • React to incoming customer enquiries on a daily basis.
  • Preparing detailed and in-depth proposals using D’Tools and Excel.
  • Research potential opportunities for the company using planning applications and building site board details.
  • Set up appointments for sales team to deliver CPD Presentations to Architects, Interior Designers & other property professionals by calling contacts that exist within our CRM database and prepare CPD certificates post event.
  • Organise sales materials for the sales team.
  • Update CRM and pipeline databases to ensure that all information is current and relevant
  • Perform competitor analysis to ensure that as a company we are staying ahead of the curve with sales and marketing activity
  • Estimating tender documentation ‘take off’ and specification analysis, prepare, process and submission stages of tenders for contracts from approved suppliers.
  • The aim will be for this person to develop responsibility for ‘small works’ allocated projects, meeting clients and reporting back on their technology needs, producing and presenting proposals.

The Person

To be considered for this pivotal role you will need to be a strong all-rounder, providing sales administration and office management support. The role will suit candidates who enjoy a busy and varied workload and are looking for a long-term opportunity with stability: you will be / have:

  • Proven experience in Sales Administration / Sales Support roles
  • Effective written and verbal communication ability with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent IT knowledge and experience of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A strong work ethic and drive in a dynamic role
  • A team player
  • Ideally would have experience with AutoCAD and / or DWG TrueView / Visio

Experience with building plans and an understanding of the building industry and technologies used in modern buildings would be an advantage.
