We are looking for an energised and professional Retail Operations Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Bath.
This is a great opportunity to join the Retail team. You will manage and provide consistent support on all aspects of the retail business, to the store managers, Head of Merchandising and CEO. Your primary job purpose will be to ensure the stores are provided with the information required to maximise sales and profit by measuring costs whilst driving operational and commercial standards.
With five stores and a successful eCommerce business we have exciting plans for growth. Working in a dynamic small team, you will get really involved in this growth of the business. Retail Operations Assistant Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist with new store openings
+ Invoices and payments
+ Supporting communications with stores.
+ Co-ordinate Retail Events
+ Health & Safety co-ordinator for the stores
+ Collating all key retail information, keeping records.
+ Assisting on HR & Payroll
+ Various administration tasks for the CEO/Team
+ Be the first point of contact for the stores at HQ
+ Liaise with Product Development directly in regards to faulty issues or fits with stock.
+ Maintaining and updated policies and store procedures
+ Be the main point of contact for logistics/liaise with logistics to resolve issues/plan improvements etc.
+ Excellent communicator and people skills.
+ Previous management experience, either within retail ops or shop floor management (most likely Assistant Manager level)
+ A driven and enthusiastic self-starter
+ Mature, independent and able to work under own initiative
+ Adaptable and able to react positively to changing priorities
+ Numerate with good attention to detail
+ Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
+ Good written and spoken English
+ Strong IT skills - Excel, Word and Powerpoint
+ Previous exposure to reporting and trading. Understands key KPIs such as performance against target and last year, conversion, UPT, ATV etc
+ Experience of working for a multi-channel retailer
+ Passionate about retail and interested in keeping up to date with industry innovations and current trading conditions
+ Ability to prioritise workflow
+ Experience of a positive trading relationship between stores and online.
+ Understanding of how web and stores can work together to increase overall brand presence.
+ Previous experience of varied delivery and click and collect options. Able to understand how this works in practice in stores.
You may have worked in the following capacities:
Retail Manager, Assistant Retail Manager, Retail Supervisor, Senior Retail Associate, Luxury Retail, Homewares Retail.
