Making it happen - Your Role
United Response are looking for a Recruitment Administrator, to join our established Centralised Recruitment Team. Our team is responsible for filling all roles within the company – from Support Workers to Operational Managers. We take an open, honest and responsive approach to our recruitment and we think we’re a creative, lively and vibrant team to work for!
As a Recruitment Administrator, you and your colleagues are responsible for completion of all pre-employment checks for new starters, references, health checks, DBS and right to work verification. Utilising our online tracking system, DBS system and HR software, in order to get our applicants clear to work as soon as possible.
You will liaise with Managers and new starters to provide updates on the progress of applications and on-boarding, and process applicants’ DBS applications, health declarations and other associated new starter forms. You will agree start dates with Managers and new starters, provide on-boarding documents and schedule and record induction training for new staff, and provide regular updates on the progress of applications to our colleagues in the business and outside bodies, both in person and by telephone. This role is busy and varied – no two days are the same!
We are looking for a clear communicator, both written and verbal along with strong organisational skills. Having proven recruitment administration/ sales administration experience would be advantageous, due to the volume of applicants we receive.
We’d also like for you to have a high level of competence in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and be confident in the use of different IT systems.
Knowledge of current right to work and DBS legislation would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of recruitment in the social care sector.
