Cathedral Appointments is looking for a bright, engaging and efficient Receptionist to work with our client based in the heart of Exeter. This is currently a temporary position but with the possibility for a permanent role for the right person. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of this busy reception area. The role will give you the opportunity to work with a variety of people with a range of linguistic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and develop relationships with customers, peers and senior managers.
Be the first point of contact at reception and deal with enquiries or forward them to the appropriate person
Promote and book participants on to the social program
Maintain good information systems and update message boards
Take responsibility for all incoming and outgoing mail
Coordinate arrival forms including entering data on to the system and follow up on incomplete forms
Support the administration functions with data entry when required
Excellent communication skills
Good IT skills with the use of Microsoft office including Word and Excel
Ability to work within clear policies and procedures
Ability to build and manage relationships
Enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
