Elevation Recruitment Group Office Support is working on an exclusive basis with a leading, specialist Engineering Services business as they look to expand with a newly created appointment of an experienced Receptionist.
Based out of Chesterfield, the business has been successfully established for more than 30 years and due to their excellent reputation and multi solution offering, they are able to cater to a world wide customer base.
The role of Receptionist will be the linchpin between customers and the internal staff. You will be responsible for all first line enquiries whether that be face to face or over the telephone. You will need to professionally represent the business at all times ensuring the first impression is always positive and to the highest standard.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
-First point of contact for all communication coming into the business -Meeting and greeting all customers and visitors -Dealing with suppliers -Arranging meeting rooms and refreshments where required -Fielding all telephone calls and directing as appropriate -Ensuring all messages are taken down accurately and passed to the right person straight away -Maintaining the visitors records -Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the Reception area at all times -Assist with the document pack production -Managing courier schedules -Data entry -Letter writing -Photocopying, scanning, filed and post duties -Provide cover as necessary for the goods in reception
Key Skills Required
-At least 2 - 3 years autonomously managing a busy reception area -Confident communicator able to act as the primary link between suppliers and customers -Ability to multi task and deal with a variety of administrative duties
