Description

PURPOSE: To drive forward a progressive expansion plan with full responsibility for ensuring the Company is compliant:
-with HSE legislation,
-making sure you retain the BSI Kite mark and ISO9000 status to UKAS approvals.
-major customer audits who are assessing against UKAS accreditation.

This will involve assessment and development of the current existing (CQS approved) QMS system, to a fully functioning (UKAS) accredited system.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain systems to establish standards in relation to the companys Global activities and products.

Develop and maintain systems to measure and monitor performance against established standards and targets; taking the necessary action to communicate, advise and assist according to performance levels.

Monitor, inform, communicate and apply standards created and maintained by external bodies, and integrate within internal quality management systems.

Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.

Plan and manage departmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales.

Liaise and co-operate with quality management and standards bodies (eg BSI, Government Departments, HSE, etc).

Manage staff according to company standards (appraisals, discipline, training, development, etc).

Manage departmental performance against agreed targets and budgets, and within policies and standards.

Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary (where impacting/affected by quality issues).

Ensure 100% accuracy of all information at all times.
