We are looking for 2 Quality Engineers to join this well know energy company based in Nottinghamshire: The main purpose of the role: Quality, Health and Safety Engineer to be part of a progressive expansion plan to accelerate the organisation from CQS to UKAS ISO approvals. -This will initially involve the upgrading of the QMS approach within the organisation and ensuring this is embedded as part of the on-going culture. -Support will be required to generate and modify policies and procedures, as well as liaising with external training bodies to ensure these are deployed in the organisation. -Supporting of major customer audits will be essential as part of the on-going business relationship. Key Duties: - Assist Quality Leader in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system to a UKAS accredited level. - Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 7S, Kaizen lean methods, etc. -Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data. -Continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures. - Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions. -Develop and maintain systems to measure and monitor performance against established standards and targets; taking the necessary action to communicate, advise and assist according to performance levels. - Monitor, inform, communicate and apply standards created and maintained by external bodies, and integrate within internal quality management systems. - Liaise and co-operate with quality management and standards bodies (eg BSI, Government Departments, HSE, etc). Experience: - Experience in a Quality Leaders role or similar activity. You must have managed within a manufacturing/assembly environment.
