Our Client operates one of the largest and most advanced window and door manufacturing facilities in the UK. Following a change in ownership in 2016, they are entering an exciting phase of growth and they want to attract the very best talent, people that want to work with an industry leader.
They are now looking for a full time Purchasing Assistant to join their team, covering maternity leave and starting as soon as possible.
Within the role you will assist the Purchasing Manager in the day to day running of the department. Raising and processing purchase orders, you will email suppliers, create part numbers whilst ensuring that all forms of supplier contact, such as enquiries, complaints and requests for quotations, are dealt with professionally and within acceptable timescales.
They are looking for someone who has an interest in procurement, coupled with experience of working with Microsoft Office. With excellent organisational skills and the ability to work without supervision, you will have a high attention to detail and will be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Full training will be provided for this role. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.
