Description

We are looking for an accounts junior to assist in the control of the company's Purchase Ledger and to be able to learn most of the permanent staff duties to job share. The main duties will invole: MAIN DUTIES Ensuring prompt and accurate payment of supplier invoices Organise supplier payments (BACS, cheque, bank transfers) Allocation of Payables post on a daily basis including returning invoices to suppliers who have not supplied an order number Invoice input and processing Reconcile supplier statements to the Payables Resolving supplier and site queries Answer supplier queries and reminders Monitor invoices on hold and under query Maintain an effective filing system (invoices, statements etc.) Maintain and ensure accuracy of supplier bank details SKILL REQUIREMENTS Payables experience Good computer knowledge Strong communication skills Team player Hours will be normal office hours Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch. Pay dependant on experience.
