We’re looking for those with purchase ledger or other relevant accounts experience, strong numerical skills and ideally, experience using a GDS for a new opportunity within the Business Travel sector.

Joining our client as a Purchase Ledger Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing back office support to the reservations team, collating supplier invoices, creating client invoices, reconciling statements, liaising with suppliers and other ad hoc administrative duties. A head for figures and a keen eye for detail are essential for the role and in return, our client is offering a competitive salary of up to £22k plus excellent benefits.

Role of Purchase Ledger Assistant:

  • Correlating supplier invoices with credit card charges
  • Invoicing the client
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Filing invoices
  • Other adhoc administrative duties

Skills required for the role:

  • Previous purchase ledger/accounts experience
  • Proficiency with a GDS (Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus) would be an advantage
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to work well both autonomously and as part of a team
