Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a personable and hard-working Purchase Ledger Clerk, for a business based in north Barnsley, who will be working within a friendly team of 6, whilst also being integrated with the wider finance team.

This is a brand new role and the successful person will be given responsibly and support from day one. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, personable, hard-working and will have had experience across all areas of Purchase Ledger invoicing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

*Supplier invoice processing both matching to PO and non PO
*Supplier set up, following the company's internal procedures
*AP payment processing
*Ensuring suppliers are paid to terms and discount is claimed where applicable
*Supplier Statement reconciliations
*Ensure all aspects of role remain compliant with SOX
*Working across multiple ERPs and legal entities
*Dealing with supplier queries
*Building supplier relations
*Working closely with other departments
*Cash/ bank reporting
*Bank Reconciliation's

To be successful you MUST have the following skills and attributes:

*Math's & English to level (C) or above
*A track record of delivering accurate work on time and in a fast paced environment
*Able to demonstrate team building skills and being a team player
*Good verbal and written communicator at all levels and in varying situations
*Thorough understanding of Financial Systems and Reporting
*Attention to detail
*Strong organisational skills
*Able to work under pressure and deliver results to a defined deadline
*Team working skills
