Antonia James, Director of Client Relations, is recruiting for a Property & Facilities Manager to join the team in Bristol to co-ordinate the management of our office premises to ensure the efficient operation of the firm and safety of all on site by providing regular visible presence in London, Watford, Birmingham and Bristol (including our small Henleaze work place).
Is this your next career move?
You'll be responsible for the maintenance and security of all our office premises keeping a constant eye on our repairs budget and service charge expenditure. You'll maintain quality standards for our receptions areas, stairwells and washrooms as well as the use of our car parks. You'll oversee the security of the buildings to ensure the safety of all on site, managing door entry systems and CCTV equipment in addition to managing the relationship with external security agents. You'll maintain awareness of health and safety legislation, attend tenants' meetings and, with the support of our property lawyers, ensure Landlord lease accountability. Another important strand to your role, will be to work closely with the relevant Office Partner for each location with regards to space planning to ensure maximum utilisation and functionality of our office space.

So who are we hoping will apply?
This busy role where no two days are the same would suit someone who enjoys travel and has some previous experience of property maintenance or facilities management. You'll be someone acutely tuned into spotting the smallest sign of maintenance and knows the importance of addressing it quickly. You'll have an awareness of health and safety implications and what's involved in security management. You'll be adept at juggling multiple sites, being able to turn your hand to unplanned problems while remaining calm and able to communicate concisely the relevant immediate issues without raising alarm but instilling confidence that now you've been alerted, all will be resolved.
