Property Administrator – £21,000 to £24,000 DOE + uncapped bonuses – London, UK

The Role

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join our property management team as a Property Administrator. Working in our recently refurbished riverside Battersea Reach office, you will have an incredible opportunity to earn an uncapped salary with Martin & Co, specialising in the SW3 and SW10 postcodes as well as several prime riverside developments.

Your responsibilities will revolve around providing daily support to two Property Managers each looking after around 150 properties; and providing support to the Head of Property Management with let only properties. This is a fantastic chance to develop your career with the largest franchised property business in the UK, with the potential to progress in the company.

The key responsibilities of a Property Administrator include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining an efficient personal inbox filing system
  • Assisting the Head of Property Management with let only properties
  • Booking and coordinating works for properties
  • Ensuring all records are kept up to date daily and weekly for properties (gas safety/electrical)
  • Taking responsibility for contractor liaison and work orders
  • Booking property visits
  • Looking after utility accounts – opening and closing
  • Performing occasional reception duties when required

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Property Administrator:

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to multitask and prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English, able to provide outstanding customer service
  • Good administrative skills, paying close attention to detail in every aspect of work
  • A team player who can work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines
  • A desire to want to grow the company

No specific experience is required, but we want someone who can hit the ground running and pick up new skills quickly. In return, we will give you the best training and opportunity to progress personally and within the company, with the chance to work towards a Project Manager position.
