If you possess experience within the property industry and are seeking a new role with great opportunity, working within a modern office and having lots of extra company perks, we have the opportunity for you as property account handler!! This is an extremely exciting time to be joining our Colchester based client and in your role as property account handler no day will the same as you will have a very busy day handling lots of different tasks regarding property. As property account handler you will be part of a first-class team acting as the main point of contact for all the company’s clients from their valuation to exchange to competition, all of which you will deliver at the highest standard.

The Role

·         Main point of contact for all clients, from valuation to exchange and completion.

·         Booking and securing home visit appointments from inbound valuation requests

·         Preparing all valuations

·         Handling sales progression following an offer being agreed

·         Following up viewings to obtain feedback

·         Negotiating offers 

·         Moderating all photographs, writing property descriptions and preparing property particulars

·         Following up on all unconverted valuations to secure a listing opportunity

·         Managing the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business

·         Cross Selling additional services to all clients to maximise business opportunities

·         Carrying out regular reviews of marketing activity, helping Vendors/Landlords to improve activity

·         Work on a rota basis to include either a Saturday or Sunday every two weeks. The companies opening hours are Mon – Fri 8am – 8pm, Sat 9 am – 5pm and Sunday 9am – 4.30pm


The Person

·         Minimum of 1 Years’ experience in a role within property

·         Excellent communication & organisation Skills

·         Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external) 

·         Experience ability to work to strict targets and possess effective decision-making skills

·         Computer Literate 

·         Able to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation 

·         Ability to use own initiative and are self-motivated
