Elevation Recruitment Group Business Support is recruiting on an exclusive basis for a leading organisation who are increasing headcount with the appointment of a Production & Planning Coordinator.
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the short term production planning process, considering the open order book, sales forecast, production capacities and inventory holding policies through the whole demand chain process.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
-Actively participate in the business' S&OP process -Short term planning, generating production plans per line based on capacity, restrictions (man power, skills etc.) and raw material availability -Maximising production -Liaise closely with the materials planning team -Ensure adequate raw materials are available to meet production plans -Monitor yield and other factors which effect output -Managing stock profile / levels, ensuring availability is in line with agreed stock rotations -Minimise aged stock by ensuring stock rotation on the yard is followed -Have an understanding of BOMs and Routes and production versions -Stock checks and associated system updates -Produce supply chain reports
Key Skills Required
-At least two years of experience in manufacturing environment -Working knowledge of SAP -Microsoft applications is essential, including Excel (Create formula and Pivots) -Strong analytical skills -Excellent communication skills -Results driven - Due to the location of the business it is essential that you have your own transport
