Elevation Recruitment Group Office Support is recruiting on an exclusive basis for a bespoke manufacturing organisation who are increasing headcount with the appointment of a Production & Planning Coordinator.
The business has been established for over 100 years and as such are the UK's leading manufacturer in its field. They pride themselves on their extensive product range and ability to provide a diverse range of solutions to its customer base.
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the short term production planning process, considering the open order book, sales forecast, production capacities and inventory holding policies through the whole demand chain process.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
-Actively participate in the business' S&OP process
-Short term planning, generating production plans per line based on capacity, restrictions (man power, skills etc.) and raw material availability
-Liaise closely with the materials planning team
-Ensure adequate raw materials are available to meet production plans
-Monitor yield and other factors which effect output
-Managing stock profile / levels, ensuring availability is in line with agreed stock rotations
-Minimise aged stock by ensuring stock rotation on the yard is followed
-Have an understanding of BOMs and Routes and production versions
-Stock checks and associated system updates
-Produce supply chain reports
Key Skills Required
-At least two years of experience in manufacturing environment
-Working knowledge of SAP
-Microsoft applications is essential, including Excel (Create formula and Pivots)
-Strong analytical skills
-Excellent communication skills
- Due to the location of the business it is essential that you have your own transport
