An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Product Support Engineer to join the customer services team. They are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to act as an interface between their customer services team and their internal IT team at second level support. 

The key purpose of the role will be taking queries from clients over phone and email, and work with the operations, customer services and technical team to resolve these queries. As the dedicated Technical Product Support Engineer in the team, you will be responsible for handling many of the technical queries. 
You will provide daily direction and communication so that our client needs are met in a timely, efficient and knowledgeable manner and must be able to travel 10% of time and have the flexibility to travel at short notice, if necessary


That is why we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience of:

 

Supporting a web-based application / software product

·         Java code to developer level and knowledge of Unix, Linux and Apache

·         Supporting external customers over phone and email

·         Exceptional customer services skills

·         Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
