Elevation Business Support are currently supporting a Service Sector business based in Worksop with the recruitment of a newly created Procurement Shared Service Team Leader.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily work allocation, resource planning and output of the Procurement shared service team, ensuring that processing of purchase orders and Supplier information portal (SIM) are completed accurately and on time. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate a team of 5 Procurement Administrators.

Duties;

- Monitor daily team targets and team outputs ensuring all inbound interactions are logged and classified correctly and applicably within the agreed SLA's
- Monitor and review performance of the teams processes, and seek ways to improve service and delivery without impacting on controls
- Be a point of escalation for the team on issues that do not fall within standard process or guidance
- Ensure all corporate policies, standards and agreed processes are adhered to by the team, rectifying any non-conformances as appropriate
- Drive performance of team and individuals using clear objectives, communications and performance management
- Deliver induction and on-going training for all staff in the Procurement Shared Services
- Review and monitor non-compliance
- Performance management of direct reports
- Actively promote equality, diversity and inclusion with the Procurement Shared service team and lead the team in a manner consistent with principles

Experience;

 - A good understanding of the Procurement P2P process
 - Experience of leading teams to deliver against SLA's and to achieve business goals
 - Experience of developing and coaching team members to maximise potential
 - Experience of working in a busy Customer Service/Procurement/Finance environment

Personal Qualities;

 - Should possess the drive to deliver a high quality service to help promote the Financial Shared Service Centre
 - Ability to problem solve escalated issues
 - Ability to motivate a team to deliver against agreed service levels
 - Team Player must be willing to help, support and encourage colleagues
 - Good time management skills to ensure own and team targets are prioritised
 - Ability to keep calm under pressure
 - Strong skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
 - Numerate and Literate
 - An understanding of SAP/Ariba and Oracle preferred but not essential
