This is truly an exciting time to be part of their growing organisation. The Dover Western Docks Revival Project, the single biggest investment undertaken by the Port, will create a purpose-built cargo and logistics facility at the Port, which currently handles up to £119 billion of UK trade each year.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Assistant to join the Contracts and Procurement team. Within the role you will provide direct support to the Store Manager in ensuring the deliver of all the purchasing needs from all departments within the organisation.

As the Procurement Assistant you will assist the Stores Manager in managing the Stores function of the organisation, ensuring they are appropriately stocked to suit on-going operational needs. Undertaking all purchasing and procurement activities, you will be responsible for the tendering and quotations of ad hoc day to day purchases, framework, suppliers and approved supplier arrangements.

They are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role. With GCSE in Maths and English at Grade C or above, you will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience of working in a Port environment is desired, and having a full clean driving licence, and access to your own vehicle is essential.
