Salary: £26,820 - £31,074 per annum

Our client is searching for a Procurement Advisor to join their team based in St Hilary Court, Cardiff. This is a full-time, permanent role with the option to work a 9-day fortnight and offers a salary of £26,820 - £31,074 - plus generous benefits.

What youll do

You will provide advice and guidance to support the delivery of procurement. Working with the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for accurately administering the delivery of procurement and supporting the transformation of the procurement service. You will support with analysis and reporting whilst following and promoting strong governance, audit and compliance practices. You will form effective working relationships with key stakeholders to provide advice and guidance to ensure effective procurement practices are adhered to.

What youll need

You will have experience of carrying out the full procurement cycle including formal tender processes, ideally within a social housing or a public sector organisation. You will use your significant experience to analyse and interpret numerical and financial information with the ability to present this in an appropriate manner. You will have demonstrable knowledge and experience of using e-tendering platforms. You will need to be able to build effective working relationships both internally and externally, in order to influence decision making and communicate complex technical information to non-technical managers.

Part CIPS qualified is desirable but not essential.
