Established in 1993, our client is one of Europe’s largest independent soft tissue converters with manufacturing capacity in excess of over 100,000 tonnes per annum.
They manufacture a wide range of household paper products from their purpose-built production facility in Lancashire. Paper products including Toilet Rolls, Kitchen Towels and Facial Tissues are manufactured to the highest levels of quality in brands and private labels utilising the latest technological advancements.
They are looking for a Process & Administrative Controller in Blackburn to support the operations team, ensuring the operational area meets the standards and KPIs in the specified asset area through the use of Audit validation, challenging the team on non-conformance and improvement opportunities.
In the role you will be responsible for all aspects of the administration process including delivery slots, raw materials, raising purchase orders, emergency breakdown orders. Processing paperwork and assisting with production scheduling, you will order materials, co-ordinate stock control and shift paperwork, including audit validation, general housekeeping and associated audits (eg: fire risk audits).
With proven administration experience and highly organised with the ability to multi-task and deal efficiently with conflicting priorities, you will ideally have past exposure to a FMCG manufacturing environment. In addition, you will have a good level of understanding of manufacturing operations, particularly in the areas of safety, quality, production, cost delivery and production planning.
