This company is an award winning UK textile innovator, independently owned, specialising in the design and manufacture of contract upholstery fabrics for commercial interiors and mass passenger transport.

The purpose of the role is to provide a reliable, accurate support service for the Co-ordinators of the Planning Team and varying Warehouse teams, ensuring administrative functions are completed in a timely manner and to an impeccable degree of accuracy. Providing the Co-ordinators and Warehouse/Inspection teams with accurate data in prompt timing to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Ensure the accurate allocation of loomstate into schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive stock files by processing delivery notes to a high level of accuracy.
- Processing delivery notes, ensuring piece-dyed batches are shade approved by liaising with the dye houses.
- Sending anything that requires inspection to its appropriate area/s, liaising with the correct teams responsible for inspection and providing them with prompt, accurate data from the delivery notes.
- Liaising with varying other members of the wider workforce for varying qualities of fabric and their requirements.
- Amending anticipated delivery dates on AS400 iSeries in accordance with actual delivery dates to ensure Customer Services provide accurate delivery time information to our customers.
- Manual booking in, amending and processing EDI links and ensuring that labels are printed correctly for batches that require them in order to help the warehouse put the rolls away promptly
- Clearing the system of scrap loomstate once the delivery note is processed (POADING).
- Ensure that fabric which is NOT good for stock for any reason is approved in full for any and all queries before being booked in.
- Daily completion of the Dying Priority list.
- Ensure fabric that is to be returned to dyehouses/finishers has the appropriate paperwork, email correspondence and spreadsheet data accurately completed.
- Ensure accuracy of supplier invoices, authorise as such and liaise with dyehouses/finishers where anomalies occur, requesting credit notes where necessary.
- Ensure loomstate stock file accuracy.
- Support the Planning team in quarterly/yearly stock takes and the updating of figures to deliver accuracy during stock takes.
- Support the Planning team with any further support or investigative works that are required by providing delivery note/inspection data, liaising with dyehouses/finishers, updating spreadsheets.

Knowledge and aptitudes required:
- Preferably A-level educated
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly EXCEL
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Acute attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage own workload.
- SAGE experience useful
